Will my dealership warranty be voided if I have my car serviced by Prestige and Performance?

Accepted Answer

No. Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, vehicle owners can choose where they have their car serviced, provided the work follows manufacturer specifications, is completed in a licensed workshop by qualified mechanics and uses quality parts. When these conditions are met, factory warranty entitlements are not affected. Prestige and Performance always use genuine and OEM parts and fluids and update service records as required.

What if my car requires a unique part?

Accepted Answer

Prestige and Performance source parts from a wide range of national and international suppliers. They provide genuine, OEM and aftermarket parts direct from manufacturers and reputable suppliers. Their workshops can also modify parts when required.

Question 3

Will I know how much my car servicing will cost before the work is done?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A base quote is provided over the phone before any work begins. After inspection, customers are contacted immediately if additional repairs or costs are required. Payment options include Eftpos, credit card, cash and ZipPay.

How long does a service take?

Accepted Answer

A standard service typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Additional time may be required if unexpected parts or repairs are needed and customers are informed when this occurs. Major services usually take 2 to 4 hours.

Do you have a loan car or am I able to wait for my car to be serviced?

Accepted Answer

The Coorparoo workshop offers two loan cars which can be booked for servicing or repairs. Customers may also wait on site as both Coorparoo and Bayside workshops provide comfortable waiting rooms with complimentary tea, coffee and water.

How can I give my car more power and better performance?

Accepted Answer

Prestige and Performance technicians offer tailored performance packages including exhaust and intake systems, ECU and TCU reprogramming, performance suspension and brake upgrades, turbo and supercharger kits, intercooler upgrades, wheel alignments, engine rebuilds and other enhancements. Customers can contact either workshop to discuss options.

Does your work come with a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Prestige and Performance provide a 24 month or 30,000 kilometre warranty on all servicing, repairs and parts.
